Constant Staff Development

Constant staff development. Professional development is another way instructors can be taught to help reach their students. Teachers can be shown new ways to reach students or new ways to teach information. Educating teachers in multicultural education methods may help them understand their pupils better and find new and creative ways to reach them.

Staff also need to be taught how to be receptive to the needs of their students. Regardless of if the staff agrees with it or not, more and more schools are going to inclusion models and the staff needs to accept that, get trained or find a new place of employment. The old days of Special Education students being hidden in basement rooms is over and staff need to be given the correct tools and have the correct attitude to deal with this.
