Cognitive Behavioral Structuring. We need to be able to change how students, especially our troubled students, think about school and perceive the world around them. As part of PBS and RTI models, we need to make the student understand the cost of his or her behavior and make positive adjustments to the way they perceive and react to events. These need to be non-physical and non-punitive but responsible programs such as Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) or other CBM model programs.
